The Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi, has requested the representative of JKAAH Texas to work for the Science departments now and install the Wi-Fi system in the Faculty of Pharmacy, which consists of five departments: Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Department of Pharmaceutics, Department of Pharmacognosy, Department of Pharmacology, and Department of Pharmacy Practices.
The Faculty of Pharmacy has approximately 2200 regular students and 400 research students continuing their courses, leading to the award of Pharm D., M. Phill., M.S., and Ph. D. degrees.
The Wi-Fi system has been installed in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, comprising seven laboratories & research rooms.
Wi-Fi system is installed in another building named Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, also called House of Research Papers, where research papers prepared by students of the above five departments are published.
