Mr. Zahid A. Babar is an Engineer from NED and has served on the executive committee of the Karachi University Alumni Association since 1914. Mr. Babar has also received a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and outstanding services from Karachi University.
Presently Mr. Babar is the backbone of establishing the Jamia Karachi Alumni Association in Houston, Texas, and continues to play a very active role in helping JKAAH complete different projects in Karachi University, with the latest being WiFi installation in the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Ex-President Mr. Akif Shaheen received a Shah Abdul Latif Cultural Day Festival Certificate from Mr. Palejo for the very active participation of JKAAH in sponsoring the event.

Mrs. Nowshaba Khurshid, General Secretary Jamia Karachi Alumni Association Houston, welcomed the Council General of Pakistan, Mr. Abrar Hashmi, based in Houston, on the inauguration of the 3rd Annual Function of JKAAH held on 28th January 2023.
At the question-answer session on the annual function of JKAAH held on 28th January 2023, both the newly elected president Mr. Faheem Akhoond and the outgoing president Mr. Akif Shaheen were busy answering queries from the participants regarding plans to Install WiFi Systems in 2023.

Dr Asef Qadeer, a well-known personality of Houston, especially in supporting various educational institutions, addressed the Jami Karachi Alumni Association guests at the annual function on 28th January 2023.
